MWA/NY Writers Reading at the KGB Bar
The MWA-NY chapter is launching a reading series in New York City for active, affiliate, and associate members.
Reading that night will be: Jillian Abbot, Alison Gaylin, Nancy Hughes, Ken Posthauer, Cornelia Read, S.A. Solomon, Ralph Westerhoff, and Elizabeth Zelvin. MWA-NY President Patricia King will host. Another reading is scheduled for July 29.
If you're interested in reading at a future event, the Events Committee would love to hear from you. Readings are a good way to promote your writing or simply to figure out what kind of reaction it provokes. The chapter hopes to launch the reading series this spring. So if you'd like to participate in one of our events, choose a short (under 8 minutes) section of your published or not-yet-published novel, ss, or WIP and contact the events committee ASAP to sign up: email Richie Narvaez, chairman of the Events Committee at richienarvaez@gmail.com.
